Fondation Monet In Giverny

If you're a nature lover and ever in Paris, you have to visit the Fondation Monet in Giverny. It is a short train ride from Paris. It is preferable to be there before opening times to beat the crowd of tourists, so maybe you can book your entry ticket online before heading there.

Once inside, (little piece of advice), the first thing you do is you skip the house and the first part of the garden and head to the Lilly pond in order to marvel in the magical beauty of this place, in peace.. and to be able to snap a few pictures without any people in the background.

Once that is out of the way, you can then walk back to the first part of the garden and visit Monet's charming pink house with his rooms and belongings still intact. The picture below is the view from his bedroom. Who wouldn't want to wake up to this every morning!

It is very much like walking into a real life Monet painting. It is a wonderful to experience first hand the beautiful landscapes that inspired many of Monet's paintings.

The gardens are stunning, visitors are calm and respectful to their surroundings. The essence of Monet is captured into this magnificent place. Let your thoughts and eyes travel freely through the vibrant colors of complimentary flower combinations.

Definitely worth the visit, especially to escape the hustle-bustle of Paris.

Oh! and, you're welcome!
